the story. >> reporter: critical mass started here at justin herman plaza at 6:00 p.m. it ended three hours later at the same location. i joined them for the ride. i got on this bike and followed them. it was very peaceful for the most part though i saw frustrated drivers along the way. >> reporter: critical mass. >> a green light. can i go, please? >> reporter: drivers in downtown san francisco were trapped for hours. >> i have gone three blocks in a hour. >> reporter: some even got out of their car to confront the bicyclist. you can see this woman arguing with the bicyclist and blocked

them from moving. the driver looked frustrated. >> they are breaking the law. if i ran a red light, i would be pulled over. right? they are shutting thousand city. -- shutting down had city. >> reporter: one drive frustrated, sped off. others couldn't do anything but wait. many pedestrians and commuters felt the same frustration. the pedestrians clanked -- complained. >> they don't respect anybody. >> reporter: these people also upset. they couldn't go home on a friday night. >> more than 30 minutes now. crazy. >> 30 minutes. out. we are still waiting here. annoyed. irritated because it is now effecting, you know, the wrong people. >> reporter: critical mass started to see the momentum slow down around 9:00 p.m.

hurt. kron 4 news obtained these paragraphs. this at 14th street and franklin in downtown oakland. a shop owner describes the scary scene as the crash unfolded. >> pushed the door and fell. i said oh, my god and then -- policeman out there and we helped them out. went through the glass. he came through the glass. his legs outside, body inside. we got a t-shirt on his head to stop the bleeding. it was intense. so sad. i am glad everybody is alive. >> four other people hurt were passengers. no one has been arrested or charge while police investigate the cause. today we saw temperatures cooler than yesterday.

berkeley. the campus set up a memorial fund. lawsuit filed today involving members of the u.s. military. the women filing say they were harassed, raped or assaulted and suffered retaliation when they reported the incidents. they accuse the leadership of failing to prosecute and investigate the sexual assault claims. we will be right back. friends, family and the community come together to remember a girl killed in a tragic crash. this is a photograph of hailey ratliff. she was hit and killed by the driver of an suv while riding her bicycle yesterday. this is where it happened. police still not releasing many details but say the driver is cooperating with the investigation. a memorial was held today at the high school. the emotional scene there. >> reporter: hailey ratliff's parents and family gather with the community to pray with balloons, candles and remorse for the tragedy. >> by this outburst i could feel her love and presence and it is amazing.

baby. marcy keelin is a resident of wyoming, wanted in connection for a shoplifting case. police say marcy keelin hatched a plan where she and her daughter would fill a cart with groceries and she would leave her daughter in the store leaving orders to take the food out to the car. the child is now with grandparents. new at 11:00 p.m., 1-4 internet consumers bought prescription medications online, according to the fda. today the fda started a campaign to warn people that buying online is risky. those medications could be fake, expired or contaminated. less than 3% of online pharmacies meet state and

federal laws and if low prescription prices seem to be too good to be true the fda says they probably are. bank of america will pay $2.5 billion in a settlement in its acquisition to merrill lynch. they bought or held bank of america stock when the company announced it would buy them. one allegation was that bank of america made misleading or false statements about the financial status of both company. bank of america denies the allegation but says it is easier to settle than to continue fighting the charges. major changes. a big warm up in store, saturday, sunday and monday. bumping up 10-15 degrees tomorrow afternoon and sunday. the difference is we will start tomorrow with foggy conditions.

but in to sunday no fog, our winds take over. that leads to record temperatures inland. which will continue into monday and the warming extended to the coast line. that is why there is a heat watch in effect right now. notice the bay shores and coast line are not under the heat watch. this is in effect for sunday and monday for the places where records could be broken, upper 90s and low triple digits. tomorrow afternoon not too bad. south bay low 80s. 85 campbell. 83 san jose. inland low 90s. 15-degree warm up in places like livermore. 70s for the east bay shores. possible temperature said could be 5 -- temperatures could be 5 degrees warmer than this because of the fog. it is a wildcard tomorrow.
